1914 The Country Club of Atlantic City Sterling Silver 1st Prize Handicap Medal
Here is quite possibly the last medal that two time U.S. Open Champion Johnny McDermott presented, as he suffered a panic attack later that day and effectively ended his great but too brief career. Johnny McDermott was the pro The Country Club of Atlantic City. This medal has a depiction of a time-period golfer on the front side and is in good condition and is dated 10/31/1914, 1 1/2" diameter
