Jack Nicklaus & Verne Lundquist Signed 1986 Masters Scorecard W/Notation "Yes Sir!"
Verne Lundquist throughout the Basketball, football and golf broadcasting world is known as "The Golden Throat". It was this voice who exclaimed what may well be the most repeated and memorable call in the history of the Masters. While calling the final round of the 50th Masters in 1986, a 46-year old Jack Nicklaus holed a long birdie putt on the 17th hole for the outright lead: Lundquist's call was "Maybe...YES, SIR!" As we all know Jack closed out the win for his record setting sixth Masters title. For the first time we offer a 1986 Masters scorecard dual signed by Jack Nicklaus and Lundquist with the famed broadcaster adding a notation with his signature of his famous call of Nicklaus' most iconic moment in his Masters career. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed both signatures finding them hand signed by both participants in this magic Masters moment, with their auction letter coming with the lot.
