Palmer, Nicklaus, Sarazen, & MANY others Signed Autograph Book
Likely carted around by a young spectator that took in the oldest major, The Open Championship, was this vintage 'Autograph' book that is chalked full of leading golfers from the 1940's through the 1960's and later. Numerous Open Champions and Ryder Cup stars from both the United States and British teams are accompanied by circa 1970 time-period ballpoint pen signatures from Jack Nicklaus (1970 winner), Arnold Palmer, Gene Sarazen, Billy Casper, Tommy Aaron, Doug Sanders (1970 Open Runner-Up), Peter Alliss, Dave Marr, Ray Floyd, Tom Weiskopf, and numerous others. The pastel pages include each player's signatures in blue ballpoint and Open Championship wins and nationality in black. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
