Tiger Woods Signed B.C. Open Logo Golf Ball - 1996
In our November auction we offered a similar Tiger Woods autographed golf ball which sold under heavy bidding which is the norm for these items . This ball comes with recently completed full letter (#BB91348) of authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA). Just because we have had one of these seldom seen items in each of our last auction do not be believe that supply outweighs demand, a Tiger Woods signed golf ball is difficult to come by, regarded as one of the toughest autographed golf balls to obtain with his long stance on not signing golf balls. Here we have the golf icon's signature penned in black marker on a clean B.C. Open Logo golf ball. With Tiger's 2019 Masters victory and his 82nd win coming at the ZOZO Championship, this ball is a collector's piece that will likely only continue to gain in value. It's common knowledge in the industry that when Tiger Woods won the 1997 Masters Tournament, or shortly their after, he stopped signing golf balls. Tiger Woods carefully applied his signature on this ball for our consignor who had the opportunity to play with Tiger Woods in the 1996 B.C. Open Pro-Am event. It is uncommon to have an exact date on a Tiger signed ball, with this ball being signed on September 18, 1996. This stop on his career timeline comes less than a month after Tiger won his third of three US Amateur Tournaments and just over 6 month prior to the 1997 Masters.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
