Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, & Gary Player 'Big 3' Signed Masters Champs Dinner Photo
Penned with precision and deliberate placement, this photo carries the black sharpie work of Palmer, Nicklaus and Player who unquestionably paved the way for many generations of professional golfers in more ways than one. Green jackets have always looked good on these gentlemen, shoulder to shoulder with their fellow Masters Champions in the Augusta National dining hall at their annual Masters Champions Dinner. Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player were known as golf's "Big Three," who dominated golf in the 1960s and are credited with popularizing and commercializing the sport during the television age of golf. First playing together in a novelty match with Sam Snead in 1961, coinciding with that year's Orange Bowl, it was the young Nicklaus' professional debut. Since that day, they managed to win an astounding 34 Majors, including 13 Masters tournaments between them. Jack's 18 still sitting securely atop the golf world. Player's nine Majors are tied for fourth all-time with Ben Hogan, and The King won seven major championships. Augusta National Golf Club recognized their impact on the game and The Masters Tournament specifically and chose them to be The Starters for the Masters Tournament until the unfortunate loss of Arnold Palmer. This photo was taken at the 1988 Masters Champions Dinner, hosted by Larry Mize located in the second row. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot. 8" x 10"

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you
