'Patented Sam Snead Body English' the Denver Post's newspaper caption is titled on the reverse of this original Albert Moldvay press photo. Sam Snead looking on at the 16th green, as his ball drops into the bottom of the cup for par. There are extensive markings on the reverse of this phot, including pencil and ink identifiers and photographer stamps from the Denver Post. Article clipping is also located on the verso. 8 1/8" x 10 1/8"

Many of these photos are original photos printed by the paper but not distributed through wire services. Photos distributed through wire services may have been printed or used by many news outlets across the world. These photos were mainly just printed for Denver Post use, making these locally sourced and held examples limited in quantity. These pictures normally have the photographer stamping on the back. In this collection will be offered many original photos from the historic 1960 US Open at Cherry Hills country club won by Arnold Palmer.
