Julius Boros Personal Driver with 1968 PGA Championship Display

History was made at Pecan Valley in 1968. Julius Boros played victor in his third and final Major title at the PGA Championship tournament at the age of 48, being granted the title of oldest golfer to win a major championship. Here one of Boros' personal drivers Wilson Oil Hardened JP-20 Driver. Long-time Wilson Staff golfer, Boros played this persimmon golf club with a significantly smaller sweet-spot on the face to those that are on the tour today. This club exhibits wear consistent to that of tournament usage, with some scrapes on the sole of the club. Boros defeated fellow major winners Arnold Palmer and Bob Charles by the slimmest of margins, a single stroke in 1968. Common practice at that time was the PGA Champion to donate a club to the PGA organization with gratitude for their work hosting the tournament. This is Boros' gift to the PGA, which has been displayed for many years at their headquarters and it is now available to the public for the first time. Driver measures 44". Framed display measures 13 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 34 1/4

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
