Vintage Calamity Jane, Georgia U.S. Post Office Photo
Here is a photo of the Calamity Jane, Georgia post office, later lending its namesake to Bobby Jones' famous putter. Jones received the original Calamity Jane putter from Jim Maiden, the brother of his golf instructor, following a loss at the 1920 US Amateur Open. Jones would win his 1930 Grand Slam with the Calamity Jane, with the club among the most historical in the game.
