The 1953 Masters ticket carries the highest value among Masters ticket collectors after the early years 1934-40 ducats. This valuation is due at least in part to Ben Hogan's great run in the 1953 Majors. That year he would become the first player to win three professional Majors in a year following his Masters victory with triumphs in the U.S. Open at Oakmont and the British Open at Carnoustie. Despite very little wear, this admission voucher was there to witness the legendary swing of Hogan. Ben won his 2nd Masters title in 1953, finishing 5 shots ahead of Porky Oliver. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15-minute time period (at 10pm ET, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
