1914 Sankaty Head Golf Club Gilbert Cup Winner's Medal With Scorecard & Postcard
Tied together by images of the Sankaty Head Light, this lot consists of 1) a 1914 sterling silver Gilbert Cup Medal with enamel lighthouse on front; 2) postcard with lighthouse in distance ; 3) scorecard with lighthouse on front. The Sankaty Head Light is a lighthouse located on Nantucket island. It was built in 1850, was automated in 1965, and is still in operation. Sankaty Head Golf Club hosted the United States Golf Association's U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship in 2021.
