An emotional Tiger Woods lifted the Claret Jug in 2006 in what was his first major tournament win following the death of his father. It was Woods' second consecutive Open Championship title and third overall. He held off Chris DiMarco, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, and Sergio Garcia for a two-shot victory. Tiger leaves his sit-down signature on this 2006 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool flag clearly in black Sharpie for friend and ESPN executive Daryl Gerber.
