1921 Gene Sarazen W551 'Champion Golf' Hand Cut Golf Strip Rookie Card
The multi-sport 1921 release included Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Boxer Jack Dempsey among other leading athletes of the day including the rookie card of The Squire Gene Sarazen here. It is a hand-cut strip card set with portraits of the athletes in groups of 10 from the roarin' twenties. Color remains strong with this example.
