Hal Sutton's 1981 The Walker Cup Team USA Issued Pewter Cup
The Team USA Issued cup gifted to contestant Hal Sutton is proudly presented here from his amateur golf days and second Walker Cup. United States outdueled Great Britain 15-9 in the 1981 matches located at the scenic Cypress Point at Pebble Beach. The star-studded United States team featured future PGA Tour champions Corey Pavin, Hal Sutton and Jay Sigel. This 3 1/4" diameter; 4" tall cup is stamped Pewter 1155 and carries the USGA logo in relief on the front center of this cup above "1981 Walker Cup - Hal Sutton." A signed letter of provenance from Hal Sutton will come with this lot.
