1937 Royal & Ancient GC of St. Andrews Rules & List of Members including Bobby Jones
This 75-page book is very hard to find and not easily obtained and is full of content about the R&A. . The front cover has a embossed depiction of the R&A emblem in gold colored leaf. Content includes the rules of the Club, including conduct of members, Conditions of Admission, The Rules of the Golf Committee, and a list of the 855 regular members of the Club as of January 1937. There is also a list of the 203 supernumerary members to include “Robert Tyre Jones Junr” (admitted 1926). Additional content includes lists of Captains and medal holders to include winners of the Silver Club, The Gold Medal, The Silver Cross, The George Glennie Medal, The Calcutta Cup, The Queen Victoria Jubilee Vase, and the Silver Boomerang.
