Early St. Andrews Nautilus Porcelain Vase - Golf Club House & Fountain
The Nautilus Porcelain Co. is listed as doing business between 1896 and 1909 under the banner of Possil Pottery Glasgow and McDougall & Sons (a.k.a. The Nautilus Porcelain Company). This small 2 x 2 ½ inch vase features an image on the front labeled “Golf Club House and Fountain, St. Andrews.” The rear of the vase depicts a Scottish Thistle plant. A very early and unique St. Andrews souvenir and likely the only survivor of a very small issue.
