George F. Pietzcker Cabinet Photo with “C.R. Robertson” Pencil Note on Reverse
The masterful camera eye which captured this image was George Pietzcker, a remarkable photographer from St. Louis, who covered the golf seen from the early 1910's till mid 1930's. During this time period, he was the official photographer for the United States Golf Association creating a visual record of the country's national championships and champions. This cabinet photograph carries the Pietzcker trademark and penciled with the subject matter notation 'C.R. Robertson' on the verso. 5 3/4" x 8 1/2"
