Here is a personal Titleist bag from Tony Jacklin, Open Champion and US Open Champion, but perhaps best known for being Jack Nicklaus' counterpart in the 1969 Ryder Cup event exhibiting exceptional sportsmanship in the gentleman's games most heated biennial rivalry. Nicklaus would concede Jacklin's missable 3-foot putt to ensure that the US and Great Britain would finish 16 to 16. Jacklin's bag in this lot carries The Concession logo below his stitched name, with the Jacklin-Nicklaus embrace and their stitched signatures. This gamer comes with welcomed significant usage and wear as shown in the photos, paying homage to one of the great moments in Ryder Cup and golf history.
