1913 Norfolk Downs Golf Club First Place Trophy - Won by Wright Poindexter
In this lot we have a 1913 First Place Trophy from Norfolk Downs Golf Club. The Norfolk Downs Shelter is a historic former golf club pavilion on Golf Drive in Norfolk, Connecticut. It was built in 1907 for a now-abandoned nine-hole golf course known as Norfolk Downs. Norfolk Downs was designed by New York City architect Alfredo S.G. Taylor. This First Place Trophy was won by Wright Poindexter, whose name is engraved on this trophy. 5" tall
