Anderson Anstruthers F. Fairlie Patent Anti-Shank Niblick with FB Shaft stamp
Amateur Frank Fairlie patented this anti-shank design in 1892. This niblick was made by James Anderson of Anstruther, Scotland. The men of influence contributed to this unique anti-shank example, perhaps the most famous in the vintage/patent club collecting community. Here is that offset smooth face niblick with strong stamping, including that of a "FB" shaft stamp.
