'The Golf Courses of the Monterey Peninsula' is by Udo Machat and 'Robert Trent Jones' Golf's Magnificent Challenge' is by Larry Dennis and Tony Roberts. These two books are packed with great color photography which will make you want to tee-it-up on both these hotbeds of golf (Virgina/DC and Monterey, California) with each book representing a different coast of the United States
