MacGregor Tourney MT1 Custom E3000 2-9 Iron Set
This set of eight vintage MacGregor Tourney MT1 Custom E3000 irons includes clubs numbered 2 through 9. These muscle-back blade irons are constructed with a chrome-plated finish. The clubfaces feature a darkened, sandblasted hitting area with horizontal scoring lines, bordered by decorative diamond-patterned punch marks at the toe and heel. The back of each club head is incised with the script word Tourney above the letters T V T. The lower left flange is marked with the script word Custom and the alphanumeric designation E3000. The 8-iron features an additional incised five-pointed star above the Tourney mark. The soles are incised with the club number, the script name MacGregor, and the block letters MT1. The steel shafts are equipped with orange and black adhesive bands identifying them as Propel Action Flex #1, manufactured by True Temper. The clubs are fitted with black rubber Swing-Rite grips featuring green chevron patterns and vertical text.
