Here we have Mark O'Meara's Contestant badge from the 1990 Open Championship held at St. Andrews. Mark used this pin just eight years before he would win The Open. Contestant badges from from champions are seldom seen, and this great collectible comes from Mark's caddy Donnie Wanstall. This badge with clasp still intact is 1 1/2 inch in diameter. It features silver lettering reversing out of a navy field. The 119th Open Championship, held from 19–22 July at the Old Course at St Andrews in St Andrews, Scotland. Nick Faldo won his second Open Championship, second major title of the year, and fourth major title overall. A letter of provenance will come from The Golf Auction.
