Champion Al Geiberger won the 1976 Western Open at Butler National, just outside of Chicago, with the highest cumulative strokes to par (+4) since 1940. The champion signed this program, along with major winners and adversaries Ben Crenshaw and Curtis Strange, along with one other contestant.
