This is a professionally framed commemorative print titled RYDER CUP CAPTAINS featuring 18 portrait sketches of United States Ryder Cup captains spanning the years 1927 to 1995. The central illustration depicts the Ryder Cup trophy flanked by the flags of the European Union and the United States. The piece features 13 hand-signed autographs in black ink and one clipped signature from a personal check. Signed individuals include Tom Watson, Dave Stockton, Raymond Floyd (signed as Ray Floyd), Lee Trevino, Jack Nicklaus, Dave Marr, Billy Casper, Lanny Wadkins, Dow Finsterwald, Jay Hebert, Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Burke. A clipped fragment from a personal check signed Samuel J. Snead is adhered to the print near the portrait of Sam Snead. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed autograph, and their auction house letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
