Royal Troon Golf Club Scottish Piper Pewter Hip Flask with Funnel and Presentation Box
This commemorative hip flask is manufactured from pewter by Scottish Piper and features decorations honoring the Royal Troon Golf Club. The front displays an etched map of the links course with numbered holes, topped by a Royal Troon banner. The accompanying text summarizes the club history, starting with its 1878 founding as a five-hole course, its extension to 18 holes by 1888, hosting its first Open Championship in 1923, and receiving its Royal Charter in 1978. The back of the flask features an etched scorecard for the Championship Course, detailing yardage and par for all 18 holes for a total of 7,067 yards and a par of 72. Below the card is a list of years the club hosted The Open Championship: 1923, 1950, 1962, 1973, 1982, 1989, and 1997. The base is marked with the Scottish Piper bagpiper logo and inscribed Scottish Piper, Pewter, Made in UK. The set is complete with its original pewter funnel and is presented in a green and black two-piece box with a green foam interior.
