Sam Snead Signed 1998 Commemorative Depression, Dust Bowl, & a New Deal FDI
The 1930's were of course known for The Great Depression in a negative sense and in the golf world for Bobby Jones' 1930 grand slam in a positive light. Both these events are captured in this 1998 First Day of Issue Jones stamped cachet. Sam Snead, who was a top professional for four decades, began his Hall of Fame career in 1931. He has signed this commemorative envelope with black time period sharpie (contains inscription). James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed autograph of Sam Snead, and their paperwork of authenticity comes with this lot.
