Seve Ballesteros' Game Used Slazenger Red & White B51 Tour Bag
A flair for theatrics and a knack for winning, Seve Ballesteros was a gallery magnet during his playing days and its not hard to understand why. The 1980 and 1983 Masters Tournament champion went on to win the Open Championship in 1979 and again in 1984 and '88. The Spaniard won a record 50 European Tour victories, and led Europe to victories in the Ryder Cup both as a player and captain.
Here is an opportunity to pick up his vibrant (Spanish) red Game Used Slazenger golf bag that carries the cat logo below Seve Ballesteros' name in script running across the main pocket above the B51 Tour bag. Please inspect photos for the signs of wear consistent to that of round usage. Seve used Slazenger bags very much like this one in the early 1980’s, as shown by the attached from 1982, but we haven’t found an exact photo match to this point - but it’s out there. AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 10:00pm EDT Sunday, April 10th. When placing your INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items with multiple bidders in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm EDT
