Seven (7) Various Vintage Golf Themed Sterling Silver Spoons
This collection of sterling silver souvenir spoons features decorative finials with various golf club crests and emblems. The group includes spoons for the Derbyshire Golf Club Ltd., the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (marked AD 1829 and FAR AND SURE), the West Middlesex Ladies Golf Club, the Downs Golf Club, and the Sandwell Park Golf Club. Additional spoons feature the initials HGC with crossed clubs and a depiction of a golfer in mid-swing. The items are constructed with various handle designs including twisted and columnar styles. Multiple pieces bear English hallmarks on the reverse of the bowls or handles. Visible marks include the maker's mark W.A, the anchor symbol for Birmingham, the lion passant for sterling silver, and a lowercase date letter u. Other spoons in the collection display similar hallmark sequences including the anchor and lion passant. The spoons exhibit varying degrees of surface tarnish and light surface wear consistent with age and handling. 118 grams
