Signed Retief Goosen The Links Fancourt Framed Golf Pin Flag and Photo Display
Retief Goosen won the 2005 South African Open at the Links at Fancourt. He is a honorary member of the club with the central feature of this ensemble being a white golf pin flag that bears the club's blue embroidered crest. The crest consists of a central shield with a cross, topped by a helmet and a stylized trefoil, flanked by crossed golf clubs and scrolling ribbons. Below the crest, the flag is embroidered with the text THE LINKS. In the upper left quadrant of the flag is a signature in red fiber tip marker from two time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen. To the right of the flag is a small inset color photograph of Retief Goosen hitting a bunker shot. Below this photograph is a black rectangular nameplate with gold-toned text that reads Retief Goosen. The display is professionally finished with a multi-layered tan mat featuring blue interior accents and embossed decorative flourishes on the side panels.
