Spalding Fire-Brand Irons Hickory Shafted Putter
This vintage golf club is a Spalding Fire-Brand Irons putter, dating from the hickory shaft era. The metal head displays a dark, naturally aged patina and is stamped on the reverse with the manufacturer name SPALDING. Below the name is a logo of a hand holding a torch and the designation FIRE-BRAND IRONS. The face of the club is scored with a pattern of horizontal dashed lines framed by vertical border lines. The club features a traditional hickory wood shaft. The grip consists of a brown suede leather wrap finished with black whipping at both the top and bottom.
The club is in good vintage condition, exhibiting wear consistent with age and use. The metal head shows surface use and a dark patina. The hickory shaft remains structurally sound with light surface abrasions. The suede grip displays expected wear and darkening from use, with some light fraying to the material.
