Here are thirteen (13) total crests, ten from the 1977 Ryder Cup and three from 1975. The 1977 Ryder Cup Matches were held at the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lytham St Annes, England. The United States team won the competition by a score of 12 1/2 to 7 1/2 points. The event was the last time that a Great Britain and Ireland team would compete for the Ryder Cup. Arnold Palmer was the obvious choice for captain of the US team at the 1975 Ryder Cup matches. Contested in Palmer's "backyard" at Laurel Valley, the US team dominated team Great Britain and Ireland 21-11.
