Tiger Woods Signed 2005 Masters Tournament Journal
The historic week of the 2005 'Tradition Unlike Any Other' was headlined by a single unforgettable moment matching only Tiger Woods' black marker signature across the cover of this journal in intensity. Woods' improbable chip-in from the collar of hole #16 Redbud during the Sunday final round came with the iconic vocals of the great Verne Lundquist. "IN YOUR LIFE HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT?!" It was warranted. Tiger Woods' slung his ball well past the hole, using the contour of the green and expansive course knowledge pulled the string on his Nike ball towards the front water. Tracking, tracking and then sitting on the lip of the cup for what seemed like an eternity with almost no movement before it emphatically dropped in. The aforementioned analyst call and Tiger/caddy Stevie Williams tandem reaction brought the scene together with unmatched emotion. It remains one of the greatest single shot highlights in Masters Tournament history, and Tiger's, and must-watch (again) audio-video footage. When viewing it you will notice many of these very series badges affixed to locked-in patrons behind the green. Woods claimed his fourth Masters title in 2005, joining a club composed of just Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Sit-down signature quality, this journal would be a great candidate to get encapsulated and graded by wither CGC or PSA with the latter starting that process for magazines, programs and comic books this year.
