Tom Stewart Willie Klein Special Hand Forged Mashie 5 Iron
With Tom Stewart's mpatented stovepipe comes this Scottish hand-forged steel golf club featuring a hickory wood shaft and leather grip. The clubhead is designed as a number 5 mashie with a straight-line grooved face. The back of the clubhead contains several stamped and impressed marks. These include the words HAND FORGED and MADE IN SCOTLAND impressed in block letters. Below this is a stamped script signature reading Willie Klein and the word SPECIAL in block capitals. Further down the head is an impressed mark reading T.S.S. REG. TRADE MARK accompanied by a small cleek mark in the shape of a golf clubhead. The toe of the club is impressed with the number 5 and the word MASHIE. The shaft is constructed from tapered hickory wood with a dark brown finish. The handle is finished with a brown leather wrap grip, secured at the top and bottom with black whipping cord. 37"
