Tom Watson Signed 1984 OPEN Championship at St. Andrews Program
Tom Watson successfully defended his Open Championship title in 1983, marking his eighth and final Major victory. Watson was able to stave off Hale Irwin and Andy Bean, claiming the Claret Jug by one stroke. Watson appears on the cover of this 1984 program, having won the previous years' contests, and left his signature on each in bold black marker. The program is in good condition, with the accompanying photos adding to the condition report.
