Trio of Vintage Ben Hogan Woods with Headcovers
A trio of vintage Ben Hogan golf clubs consisting of a 1-wood (driver), 3-wood, and 5-wood. The club heads are constructed from Dura-ply laminated wood with a deep black high-gloss finish. Each club face features a red-toned synthetic insert secured with six screws. The crowns are marked with a gold-colored Ben Hogan script signature; the driver crown includes three horizontal decorative lines in red, blue, and green. The sole plates are gold-tone metal, each stamped with the name HOGAN and a central sunburst logo containing the initials BH. Large block numerals 1, 3, and 5 designate the club types on the soles. The clubs are fitted with stepped steel shafts and black wrap-style rubber grips. Included are three brown leatherette headcovers with white stitched-on numbers 1, 3, and 4. The headcover marked 4 is currently paired with the 5-wood.
