Filling up this 2010 Open Championship flag are signatures of 26 gentlemen who at one point hoisted the Claret jug. United in penmanship are past Champion Golfers of the Year: Phil Mickelson, Xander Schauffele, Colin Morikawa, Gary Player, Padraig Harrington, Tom Weiskopf, Johnny Miller, Bob Charles, Paul Lawrie, Todd Hamilton, Sandy Lyle, Tony Jacklin, Justin Leonard, Ben Curtis, David Duval, Mark Calcavecchia, Louis Oosthuizen (2010 winner), Darren Clarke, Tom Lehman, Nick Faldo, Stewart Cink, Roberto DiVencenzo, Ernie Els, Henrik Stenson, Francesco Molinari, and US Open winner Curtis Strange. While the number is already a robust 26, it could certainly increase given tournament access to the likes of Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, etc. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
