Unused Official 1956 U.S. Open Scorecard Won By Cary Middlecoff
U.S. Open official scorecards of this vintage are scarce and in serious demand these days. Here is an unmarked and unscored card in in good condition from the 1956 U.S. Open at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., won by Dr. Cary Middlecoff. Slight, welcomed, aging is apparent while maintaining high presentation value. The 1956 win was Middlecoff's second US Open win, having won in 1949. In addition to Middlecoff's two US Open victories he was also the Masters Champion in 1955 and following his career he was elected to The World Golf Hall of Fame.
