Urbain Huchet Ballenisles C.C. of J.D.M. Framed Color Lithograph 1989
A framed color lithograph on Arches paper by French artist Urbain Huchet, titled Ballenisles c.c. of J.D.M. The scene depicts a golf course green situated on a point of land by a body of water with a clubhouse to the right, rendered in a sketch-like style with pastel color washes. The piece is presented in a white mat and a decorative gold-toned wood frame with an ornate scrolling pattern. Below the image, the work is hand-inscribed in pencil Ballenisles c.c. of J.D.M. at the bottom left, the numbers 129/275 in the center, and a signature reading Huchet at the bottom right. The reverse of the frame features a brown paper backing with a white adhesive label reading 52314.00031 / HUCHET, URBAIN / Ballenisles C.C. of J / 135 and the registration number 52314 handwritten in pencil. The item is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery, Southfield, Michigan, which identifies the work as registration number 52314 from the 8-piece Golf Series, printed at Ateliers Aliga Litho, Paris in 1989.
