Vintage Augusta National Golf Club Bobby Jones Commemorative Glass Tray with Original Box
This commemorative glass tray honors the opening of the Augusta National Golf Club and features an illustration of legendary golfer Robert T. (Bobby) Jones. The rectangular dish is constructed from slumped glass with a shallow profile and curved edges. The design is executed using a reverse-printing technique with dark blue graphics applied over a gold-toned metallic foil backing. The central imagery depicts Bobby Jones in a golfing follow-through, set alongside an outline map of the United States with a flag identifying the location of Augusta, Georgia. The printed text includes AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB and Robert T. (Bobby) Jones Course OPENING Jan. 13, 1933. Augusta, Ga. Small printed markings in the bottom right corner of the graphic field consist of a copyright symbol followed by the letters MW and the text and H.P. directly below. The tray is housed in its original cream-colored cardboard box with a clear plastic display window. 6"X 9"
