Vintage Box of 12 Worthington Billy Burke Autograph Golf Balls
This lot comprises a complete set of twelve vintage liquid center golf balls manufactured by Worthington Golf Inc. of Elyria Ohio. The set is presented in its original cardboard retail display box featuring a red white and blue graphic scheme. Each ball is marked with the facsimile signature of Billy Burke winner of the 1931 U.S. Open and includes play numbers 1 2 3 or 4. The balls are labeled as Autograph Billy Burke and Liquid Center. The box graphics include the Worthington script logo the price of 1. each ball and identifying information for Worthington Golf Inc. as a subsidiary of the Victor Comptometer Corporation. The interior of the box contains a central red cardboard sleeve printed with Gift Ball and two separate three ball sleeves that remain sealed in their original cellophane wrapping.
