Vintage Butchart-Nicholls and Co. Hickory Shafted Golf Putter
A vintage golf putter manufactured by Butchart-Nicholls & Co. of Glenbrook, Connecticut. The club features a heavy steel head with a punch-mark face pattern consisting of a grid of small square indentations framed by vertical lines. The back of the club head is designed with a circular lead weight plug inserted near the toe to provide balance. The club is constructed with a solid hickory wood shaft and is fitted with a black leather wrap grip secured with whipping at the top and bottom. The back of the club head is stamped with the manufacturer mark in two lines of script reading Butchart and Nicholls & Co. 34 1/2"
