Vintage Multi-Signed Green & White Colonial Hat - Watson, Price, & others
This lot contains a vintage green and white Colonial hat signed by Watson, Price, Rocco Mediate and others. The Colonial was bitter sweet for both Watson and Price. Tom's 1998 visit to Colonial was a first and last. It was the first time he had won the tournament, but it was his last PGA victory, as he decided to retire after his 2-stroke win over Fuyrk. Nick Price had two wins at Colonial (1994 and 2002) but decided after his won in 2002 that at colonial in 1998, he decided that the demands of the game were too much for him. Rocco Mediate did have a win at Colonial during his PGA career, but during his Senior PGA, Mediate has managed to capture a a victory there.JSA auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
