Vintage Spalding Golf Balls Cardboard Easel Back Advertising Display Sign
This is an original early 20th-century point-of-sale counter display advertising A.G. Spalding and Bros. golf balls. The die-cut cardboard sign features a rectangular form with an arched upper right-hand corner and an integrated fold-out easel support on the reverse. The sign illustrates distinct golf ball models, demonstrating both mesh and dimple surface patterns, pricing and distinctive characteristics of each ball. Each ball category includes text indicating availability in mesh or dimple patterns with plain or multidot markings. The reverse side of the sign is plain tan cardboard with a large glued-on easel-back support. Great early ball advertising! Overall condition is excellent with slight paper loss on upper right side. 11” H x 7 1/8” W.
