Vintage Tall Sterling Silver Overlay Golf Motif Glass Cocktail Pitcher w/ Uncommon Stirrer Set
Remarkably this example retains its rare original
mixer wand which resides nicely in the pitcher.
We found this as item 168 in Sprung’s Decorative
Golf Collectibles book with an estimate at time of
publication of $600-900.
However, even the Sprung example is incomplete as
it is not pictured with its mixer wand.
The pitcher features two finely detailed golfers,
about halfway up both sides. Thoughtfully created
with one golfer depicted pre swing and the other
post swing. Silver trim to the top rim and bottom
base. Further accented with etched vertical stripes
and top and bottom floral bands.
This is likely the tallest sterling on glass golf related
pitcher you will ever find. It would be an excellent
display piece surrounded by a golf sterling glass
collection with similar golf figures
