Vintage Tom Dunn Long Nose Play Club
Tom Dunn was the son of Willie Dunn, a player, clubmaker and course architect himself. Tom Dunn was a pro at the Bournemouth Meyrick Park location starting in 1895 for 5 years. 'T. DUNN' is engraved across the crown of this long nose play club. A brass sole plate affixed by five metal screws is found on the bottom of the head. Adjusting the head weight was the lead weight added to the backside of the head, customary of the time-period. The filing marks remain in the face of the club. It was regripped long ago, with a pinhole towards the base of the grip's whipping. There appears to be an 'R' etched into the head just above the stamp. Its in overall good condition with a very legible, deep crown stamp.
