Willie Campbell Boston Mid Ron
Sixth place in the first US Open in 1985 at Newport in Rhode Island, Willie Campbell out of Scotland started the wave of Scott golfers to emigrate to the United States when he did so in 1894. From caddy at the links of Musselburgh, to beating Open Championship Bob Ferguson at only 13 years old Campbell's golf story continued with clubmaking as the head professional at The Country Club of Brookline. Here is a Willie Campbell Boston stamped Mid Iron in fair, aged condition with a smooth face produced prior to Campbell's passing in 1900. 38 1/2"
