Ben Hogan & Arnold Palmer Signed 1964 Masters Sunday Rd Pairing Sheet Display
Bearing signatures from Bantam Ben and The King is this 1964 Masters final round Sunday pairing sheet display flanked with photos of the signers. Arnold Palmer won his fourth and final Masters for Arnie's Army in 1964, eclipsing Demaret and Snead's three titles. Hogan left a major impact on the game of golf with his swing theory and meticulous preparation. His legendary career ended with nine major championships, tied for fourth all-time, and he is one of only five golfers to win each Major and complete the career Grand Slam. Hogan won the Open Championship in his only attempt in 1953, the U.S. Open in 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953, the Masters Tournament in 1951 and 1953, and the 1946 and 1948 PGA Championship. There is some adhesive on the pairing sheet, not detracting from the signatures or the piece's impressive overall composition. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot. 38 1/2" x 18"
