c.1931 Bobby Jones Coca-Cola Bottle in Hand w/ Chairman Robert Woodruff Filming Movie Original Photo
Bobby Jones' investment in numerous bottling facilities of in his hometown, Atlanta soda company is well documented. It would come after the corporate lawyer became close with the Coca-Cola Chairman pictured, also with a Coke glass bottle in his hand. The two are captured behind the cameras at the Warner Brothers Hollywood staged filming here in 1931. The prominent figures in Atlanta are depicted in this photographic marvel that is so crisp that you can see the raised writing on the side of the bottle that Jones is holding. The darkest darks and lightest lights make for a wide range of value to bring this 10" x 8" photo to life. Jones has a club in-hand, the then recently turned movie star in the series of short films titled 'How I Play Golf' and 'How to Break 90.' This richly colored photo is on thick paper stock.
