Classic Masters White Flag Signed by Palmer, Jack, Sarazen, Watson & others
Containing the desirable signatures of Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gene Sarazen and Tom Watson is an impressive total of 15 golfers that penned their name on this 1993 white Masters flag with the vibrant yellow logo. It represented the inaugural souvenir flag design that was offered at Augusta National Golf Club merchandise pavilion for the tournament, the start of a collecting trend that has lead the industry since. The earliest of Masters flag were white, green and yellow flags that were produced many years prior to said trend truly taking off and now difficult to find in their own right.
Among those that signed the flag in this lot are nine Masters winners, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gene Sarazen, Tom Watson, Gay Brewer, Larry Mize, Ben Crenshaw, Mark O' Meara and Ray Floyd. The list of signers is the aforementioned, along with: Greg Norman, Scott Simpson, Justin Leonard, Corey Pavin, Andrew Magee. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed these signatures and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, August 9th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing initial bid, you must agree to the terms before confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
