The great Ben Hogan left his signature and "51 & 53" on this vintage Masters logo golf ball, made available to bidders in this lot. Hogan's signature in blue marker is perched on a classic Masters logo golf ball, with the dates of his two Masters championships just below, propelling this ball's presentation value. Ben Hogan is considered one of the greatest golfers to ever tee up, and his swing and ball striking ability have withstood the test of time. He remains one of only five golfers to accomplish the coveted career Grand Slam, by winning all four Majors. Ben Hogan signed golf balls rightfully command attention and typically garner a lot of interest in our auctions. This is a different pedigree, the best of the best, something in thirty plus years of golf autograph collecting that most would consider unlikely to exist. A true scarcity when you consider first having a Masters logo ball, second getting it in front of Hogan who seldom in later life left his Shady Oaks club not even for the Masters past champions dinner he created. Finally to have him add an inscription to an item, unlikely at best as you can almost to this day hear him bristle, "You can put that on there yourself!". AUCTION CLOSING RULES:

Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 10:00pm EDT Sunday, April 10th. When placing your INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items with multiple bidders in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm EDT
